Role Description The Electrical Estimation Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in the Kuha Ahmedabad Area. This role is responsible for preparing accurate electrical Bills of Quantities (BOQ), developing project cost estimates, and supporting bid and proposal preparation for industrial automation and control panel projects. The engineer will review technical drawings and specifications, coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams, and perform cost comparisons to ensure competitive yet viable quotations.

Daily activities include conducting market and vendor research,



evaluating material and labor requirements, and supporting negotiations with suppliers and contractors. The role also involves maintaining estimation records, contributing to process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company standards and relevant codes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong BOQ and project estimation skills for electrical and industrial automation projects.
- Candidates should possess core engineering knowledge, preferably in Electrical or related disciplines; familiarity with Engineering interfaces is beneficial.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills to collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid research skills for market analysis, pricing benchmarks, and technical information gathering.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Experience in industrial automation, control panels, or related electrical project environments is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and estimation tools; basic familiarity with ERP or project management software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
