Role Description The Electrical BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed electrical Building Information Models for various projects, ensuring accuracy and coordination with architectural and other engineering disciplines. Day-to-day tasks include creating 2D and 3D electrical layouts, updating models based on design changes, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to resolve clashes and technical issues. The role involves interpreting electrical drawings and specifications, organizing project documentation within BIM platforms, and supporting the preparation of installation drawings and as-built models.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Ambala,



requiring close coordination with local project teams and adherence to company standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of electricity fundamentals and practical application in building systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design principles, including layout planning and load calculations.
- Background in electrical engineering with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of power generation and distribution concepts relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with electrical equipment selection, placement, and coordination within BIM models.
- Hands-on experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit or similar), CAD tools, and model coordination workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with engineers and project managers.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; BIM certification or training is an advantage.
- Prior experience in MEP or building services modeling is preferred, especially in an on-site project environment.
