Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drone Pilot role based in your own Taluk.

The Drone

Pilot will be responsible for planning and executing drone flights for activities such as surveying, inspection, mapping, and aerial photography or videography, depending on project requirements. Day-to-day work includes conducting pre-flight checks, ensuring compliance with local aviation regulations, monitoring flight conditions, and maintaining detailed flight logs. The role involves coordinating with project teams to capture required data, transferring and organizing aerial data, and reporting any technical issues or safety concerns promptly.

The Drone

Pilot will also assist in routine maintenance of drone equipment and contribute to continuous improvement of operational procedures.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to operate drones safely, including pre-flight checks, navigation, and landing procedures.
- Experience with aerial data collection for purposes such as surveying, inspection, mapping, or media production.




- Understanding of relevant aviation regulations and safety standards applicable to drone operations.
- Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and commitment to secure work practices on-site.
- Ability to interpret basic technical documentation and follow standard operating procedures for equipment use and maintenance.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and adapt to changing project schedules or field conditions.
- Prior experience as a drone operator or related field experience; formal drone certification or licensing is highly beneficial.
- Basic IT skills for handling digital files, data transfer, and use of mapping or imaging software are an advantage.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in aviation, surveying, engineering, or media is preferred but not mandatory.
