About the School:

Roots Country School, Baghi, Shimla is looking for an experienced and dedicated Doctor (MBBS/BAMS) to join our school campus and take responsibility for the healthcare and medical well-being of our students and staff

Qualification

- MBBS / BAMS from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council
- 5–10 years of professional experience
- Experience in a school, residential school, hospital, clinic, or similar setting will be preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

- Provide medical consultation and first aid to students and staff
- Attend to routine illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
- Monitor students' general health and maintain appropriate medical records




- Assess students when required and recommend further medical consultation or investigations
- Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding students' medical concerns, when required
- Maintain and monitor medicines and essential medical supplies
- Conduct routine health check-ups and support school health initiatives
- Coordinate with hospitals and specialists whenever advanced medical care is required
- Ensure proper documentation of medical cases and treatments
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy setting within the school campus
