Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dietitian role based in Gurgaon at AIMAN - Ataraxia Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences. The Dietitian will assess patients’ nutritional status, develop individualized diet plans, and provide ongoing nutritional counseling tailored to mental health and neurological conditions. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinicians to integrate medical nutrition therapy into treatment plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed.

The role also involves educating patients and families on healthy eating habits, weight management strategies,



and lifestyle modifications that support overall mental and physical well-being. The Dietitian will maintain accurate records, adhere to evidence-based guidelines, and contribute to patient-centered care initiatives within the institute.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to design safe, effective, and individualized diet plans.
- Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling, including patient education, behavior change guidance, and motivational support.
- Experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy, particularly in contexts related to mental health, neurological conditions, and comorbid lifestyle disorders.
- Skills in Weight Management, including assessment, planning, and monitoring for diverse populations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from a recognized institution; relevant registration or licensure as applicable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of evidence-based nutritional guidelines, documentation practices, and basic medical terminology.
- Empathetic, non-judgmental approach with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care.
- Prior experience in mental health, neurology, or clinical settings is an advantage.
