Role : Medical Coder / Medical Biller

Experience : Fresher to 3 Years

Location : Chennai , Hyderabad , Bangalore, Coimbatore

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Work Mode : Hybrid / WFO / WFH

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Review patient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure medical codes accurately reflect diagnoses, procedures, and services provided.
- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits.
- Review claims for accuracy and identify billing errors.
- Follow up on denied, rejected, and unpaid claims.
- Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up and insurance calling when required.
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
- Investigate claim denials and take appropriate corrective action.




- Maintain accurate patient billing and account records.
- Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing and coding guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA requirements.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Any degree or Diploma
- Fresher or 3 Years of experience in Medical coding or medical billing
- Hands on experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes
- Working knowledge with HIPAA
- Should have a valuable understanding of insurance claims, and US healthcare billing processes
