We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our technology team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring systems, and production environments. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure our SaaS-based web and mobile applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and easy to deploy.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, PostgreSQL, monitoring tools, and cloud security practices.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges, automating repetitive tasks, improving deployment reliability, and supporting production SaaS applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Manage Bitbucket repositories, branches, permissions, pull requests, and deployment workflows.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Support deployment and operations of SaaS-based web and mobile applications.
- Monitor application uptime, infrastructure performance, logs, alerts, and system health.
- Troubleshoot production issues across applications, APIs, networking, databases, containers,



and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Manage cloud security, IAM/RBAC, secrets, SSL certificates, environment variables, and access controls.
- Support and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including backup, restore, monitoring, availability, and performance-related activities.
- Configure and manage cloud networking, including VPCs, virtual networks, subnets, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancers.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity requirements.
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to improve software delivery and release processes.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive improvements.
- Monitor and optimise cloud resources for performance, reliability, security, and cost.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, pipelines, monitoring, backup, and operational procedures.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, security, deployment efficiency, and platform reliability.

Ideal Candidate

- 3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Good working experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with Bitbucket and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good Linux administration knowledge.
- Experience supporting production SaaS applications.




- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL in production environments.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
- Good scripting knowledge using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of scalability, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Strong experience with Bitbucket Pipelines and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux.
- Experience supporting or managing PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience working with SaaS applications in production.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, security, and performance optimisation.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
