Key Responsibilities

Solar PV Design

- Design rooftop and ground-mount solar PV layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring optimal placement of modules, inverters, and electrical components
- Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and load calculations to determine the most effective solar solution for each project
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, cable routing, and mounting structure designs
- Run PVsyst simulations to estimate energy generation, assess losses, and evaluate performance (PR, CUF)
- Ensure all designs meet IEEE and other applicable technical/regulatory standards

Project Monitoring & Management

- Monitor and manage multiple ongoing solar installation projects/sites simultaneously, tracking progress against timelines
- Coordinate with site Managers and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution
- Track daily/weekly generation and site progress data, and prepare performance and status reports for management




- Diagnose and help resolve on-site technical issues and faults during installation and commissioning
- Support procurement and material coordination across active projects
- Maintain project documentation, technical reports, and client-facing presentations

Requirements

- Any bachelor's degree with experience in Solar power plant designing
- 3 – 5 years of experience in solar PV design
- Hands-on working knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst (SketchUp / Solar Lab is a plus)
- Understanding of SLD preparation, cable/string sizing, and BOM/BOQ estimation
- Demonstrated ability to independently track and manage multiple project sites and timelines at once
- Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with site teams and vendors
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
