Role Description The Design Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed design drawings, and coordinating design intent throughout all project stages. Day-to-day tasks include creating schematic and detailed plans, elevations, and sections; producing and reviewing construction drawings; and collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design quality and technical accuracy. The role also involves participating in client meetings, presenting design proposals, and incorporating feedback into refined solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chandigarh, India,



requiring regular studio presence and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to develop concepts into buildable solutions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Candidates should possess Design Management skills to coordinate design phases, manage timelines, and align deliverables with project goals.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with codes.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools is beneficial.
- A professional degree in Architecture from a recognized institution is preferred; relevant work experience in an architectural studio is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment are important.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and construction practices in India is beneficial.
