Role Description The Design Architect will work full time on-site in Mumbai, collaborating closely with project teams to develop architectural concepts and detailed designs.
Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, construction documents, and design presentations, ensuring alignment with project requirements, codes, and client expectations. The role involves coordinating with consultants and contractors, participating in design reviews, and resolving design-related queries during project execution.
The Design
Architect will support design management activities, contribute to material and detail exploration,
and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Design and Architecture, including concept development, space planning, and design detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design Management, including coordination of project stages, documentation workflows, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings, including preparation, review, and revision of working drawings, plans, sections, and elevations.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite) is highly beneficial.
- A skilled degree in Architecture from a recognized institution is preferred; registration with the Council of Architecture (India) is an advantage.
- Experience working in an architectural firm or on built projects in urban contexts such as Mumbai is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, pay attention to detail, and work collaboratively in a studio environment is expected.
