Role Description The Deputy Manager Purchase role is a full time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including vendor identification, negotiation, and finalization of purchase orders for electrical and electronic components, raw materials, and services.

Purchase will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with production and planning teams, and ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing cost and quality. Daily responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance, maintaining accurate purchase records, resolving delivery or quality issues, and supporting compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also includes preparing reports, assisting in budgeting for procurement, and contributing to process improvements within the supply chain and purchasing function.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in procurement, vendor management,



and negotiation for industrial or manufacturing materials.
- Experience in inventory management, demand planning, and coordination with production and logistics teams.
- Ability to analyze pricing, contracts, and supplier performance using basic data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, documentation, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP or purchasing software and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or materials management are an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in electrical/electronic manufacturing or a similar industrial sector is preferred.
