- Designation - Dy. Manager Internal Audit & Costing (Finance Controller)
- Objective of the Position
To manage and strengthen costing, project finance, accounting, and financial control functions by ensuring accurate cost management, cash flow planning, financial reporting, internal controls, and statutory compliance. The role will support cost optimization, profitability improvement, effective project financial management, and informed business decision-making through robust financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA) or MBA Finance
- Experience - 3 to 8 years

1. Manage end-to-end product costing, standard costing, project costing, and cost accounting activities.
2. Prepare and maintain cost sheets, standard costs, budgets, forecasts, and cost-related MIS reports.
3. Perform cost variance analysis, inventory valuation, profitability analysis, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
4. Drive cost optimization and cost-control initiatives,
identify cost drivers, and recommend corrective measures for improving operational and financial performance.
5. Prepare cash flow statements, cash flow forecasts, and project cash flow reports in coordination with Cost Consultants, Finance, and respective Heads of Departments.
6. Manage project cash flow and working capital, including vendor payments, customer collections, and overall cash management.
7. Maintain accurate general ledger, sub-ledgers, trial balance, chart of accounts, and other accounting records for project and business transactions.
8. Reconcile vendor, customer, bank, and other financial records on a timely basis and resolve discrepancies.
9. Review and verify Purchase Orders (POs), Service Work Orders (SWOs), and related documentation to ensure compliance with approved commercial, financial, and company norms before release.
10. Coordinate with Project, Sourcing, Technical, Finance, Production, Purchase, Stores, Planning, and other cross-functional teams for timely execution of financial and project-related activities.
11. Obtain necessary financial and management approvals/clearances for release of POs, SWOs, payments, and other project-related transactions.
12. Conduct internal audits and process reviews covering Procurement-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory, Fixed Assets, Scrap Management, Logistics, and other key business processes.
13. Evaluate Internal Financial Controls (IFC),
identify process gaps and control weaknesses, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
14. Support and coordinate with internal and external auditors, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, reports, and responses to audit observations.
15. Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Ind AS, applicable accounting principles, company policies, and internal financial procedures.
16. Support the implementation, enhancement, and integration of accounting and costing systems, including coordination with the Group Accounting team and SAP.
17. Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, variance reports, project reports, and other financial/analytical reports as required by management.
18. Utilize SAP FICO/CO, Advanced MS Excel, and other analytical tools for costing, financial reporting, data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement.
19. Monitor and account for inventory, fixed assets, scrap, and other cost-related transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting and valuation.
20. Provide financial inputs and analysis for project planning, investment decisions, profitability assessment, and business forecasts.
21. Support the identification and utilization of Government incentives and benefits associated with projects/investments, wherever applicable.
22. Participate in daily project review meetings and provide updates on costing, financial status, cash flow, procurement, and other commercial matters.
23. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and project documentation, records, and ledgers in accordance with company requirements.
24. Prepare ad-hoc financial, costing, project, and management reports as requested by senior management.
