Position description

The Senior Associate / Associate will become part of a globally connected team working cohesively to liaise with Private Equity firms across the globe in Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting. The role offers the chance to work in an entrepreneurial culture, supporting end-to-end investor relations and fundraising activities under the guidance of senior team members.

Responsibilities

Part A –

- Portfolio Monitoring &
- Investor Relations Responsibilities

Ø
- Updating and managing portfolio details of various private equity funds including maintaining databases and fund trackers on a quarterly basis

Ø
- Updating pre-defined investor-specific quarterly bespoke reporting templates with accurate fund performance data, portfolio summaries, and operational highlights

Ø
- Analyzing PE Fund performance through fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data

Ø
- Analyzing and calculating fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized and unrealized value, gross/net multiple, gross/net IRR, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, valuation multiples, and leverage multiples

Ø
- Tracking and updating portfolio company operational metrics and updates on a quarterly basis, including ESG-related data points where required

Ø
- Coordinating with different internal teams and client stakeholders to obtain the right information on time, and communicating on a constant basis with clients on the status of tasks

Ø
- Supporting the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly reports, capital account statements, and ad hoc investor queries

Ø
- Assisting in the preparation and review of Limited Partner (LP) reporting packs and ensuring all deliverables meet agreed turnaround times and quality standards





Part B –

- Fundraising Support Responsibilities

Ø
- Drafting and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring responses are aligned with the fund's investment strategy and performance track record

Ø
- Working with proposal management tools such as RocketDocs, Qvidian, Loopio, and Responsive to maintain and update content libraries, answer databases, and response workflows

Ø
- Supporting the fundraising team with the preparation of marketing materials including fund pitchbooks, investor presentations, one-pagers, and tearsheets

Ø
- Maintaining and updating consultant and investor databases, including platforms such as eVestment, Preqin, and Mercer, to ensure current and accurate fund information is available to prospective investors

Ø
- Assisting with lead generation activities, tracking prospect pipelines, and maintaining CRM systems with up-to-date investor contact and engagement information

Ø
- Conducting background research on prospective investors, consultants, and placement agents to support the business development team ahead of meetings and roadshows

Ø
- Supporting the creation and periodic updates of fund track record materials, ensuring consistency with audited financial statements and regulatory disclosures

Ø
- Coordinating with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure fundraising materials meet applicable regulatory standards

Educational Qualifications Preferred

- Ø
- Post-graduate degree, or pursuing / holding a professional certification such as CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, or CAIA (or equivalent)

Ø
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management preferred

Ø 1–5 years of relevant financial services experience, including exposure to Management Reporting, Operational Finance, Private Equity Operations, or Investor Relations

Ø

- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel (advanced), MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Ø

Experience with tools such as Canoe, eFront, iLevel, or Power BI is an added advantage

Ø

- Knowledge of RFP/RFI/DDQ creation and proposal management platforms (RocketDocs, Qvidian, Loopio, Responsive) is preferred

Ø
- Familiarity with private equity fund structures, fund cash flows, NAV calculations, and LP reporting
