Role Description The Data Scientist role at RAIK Solutions is a full time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. In this role, the Data Scientist will gather and clean data from multiple sources, perform exploratory data analysis, and build predictive and descriptive models to support product and business decisions. The position involves designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Data

Scientist will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems, monitor performance, and iterate on solutions. The role also includes documenting methodologies, presenting results, and staying current with emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong analytical and statistical skills, including experience with data exploration, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation.
- Candidates should possess programming and data manipulation skills, such as proficiency in languages commonly used for data science (e.g., Python or R) and experience working with databases and SQL.
- Candidates should possess machine learning and modeling skills, including familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and practical experience building and tuning models.
- Candidates should possess data visualization and communication skills, including the ability to create clear visualizations and explain complex findings to varied audiences.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on solving real-world business and product challenges using data-driven approaches.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and familiarity with software development practices (e.g., version control, testing) are beneficial.
- Prior experience in a data-focused role, internships, or projects demonstrating applied data science skills are highly advantageous.
