Role Purpose:

The Data Governance Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping and refining the enterprise-wide data architecture across diverse data domains. This position involves evaluating and advancing modern data platforms, ensuring seamless ingestion, processing, and consumption mechanisms. By aligning architectural frameworks with business objectives, scalability demands, and long-term capability enhancements, you will contribute to building a robust data ecosystem that supports strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

In this leadership position, the architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business data requirements into sustainable architecture solutions. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills to execute the following responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis: Engage proactively with business stakeholders, analysts,



and development teams to thoroughly understand and document application-specific data requirements, workflow needs, and integration points. Translate these into actionable architectural elements.

Designing: Architect high-level application and database designs that are aligned with organizational standards, incorporating scalable frameworks, reusable patterns, communication protocols, and consistent API strategies. Ensure that designs facilitate future enhancements and seamless integration.

Integration Evaluation and Support: Assess the feasibility and impact of application integrations within existing system landscapes including databases, infrastructure, and third-party services. Provide technical guidance and support during implementation to mitigate risks and ensure smooth interoperability.

Troubleshooting and Validation: Partner with quality assurance and deployment teams to troubleshoot design or integration issues post-deployment, ensuring the functional correctness and performance benchmarks are met. Provide rapid response for incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Proven expertise in Informatica Data Analyst tools and methodologies, including data profiling, lineage, governance, and metadata management.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable data solutions utilizing contemporary data platforms and integration technologies.

Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations in complex data environments.

Proficiency with data modeling, API design, and understanding of data security and compliance requirements.

Experience Level: 8-10 years in relevant data architecture and governance roles.
