Role Description The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics and AI-driven features within the health app. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing robust data models, and managing data warehousing solutions to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data access. The role involves collaborating closely with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data requirements, improve data quality, and support new product features.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and hands-on work with production data systems.

Qualifications





- Robust foundation in Data Engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure.

- Proficiency in Data Modeling and designing scalable schemas for analytical and operational workloads.

- Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from multiple sources.

- Hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, including architecture design and performance optimization.

- Applied skills in Data Analytics to support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.

- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).

- Experience with cloud data platforms or services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools is highly beneficial.

- Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices, especially in healthcare or similarly regulated domains.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Ability to work on-site in Mohali district, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
