Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Cybersecurity Sales Intern at DPDPA Shield.

The Cybersecurity Sales

Intern will support lead generation, outreach, and follow-up with prospective clients, particularly startups and SaaS companies. Daily responsibilities include researching potential customers, scheduling and attending online meetings or demos with senior team members, documenting interactions in CRM tools, and assisting in preparing sales materials and presentations.



The role also involves collaborating with customer success and product teams to understand client needs, gathering feedback from prospects, and participating in training on DPDPA Shield’s offerings and the DPDPA regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written interaction with prospective clients.
- Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, provide helpful information, and support a positive client experience.
- Interest or foundational experience in Sales, including lead generation, prospecting, and basic sales processes.
- Ability to learn and support Sales Management activities such as pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Willingness to participate in Training and continuous learning on DPDPA, privacy, and product features.
- Comfort working in a remote workplace, with reliable internet access and good time management skills.
- Basic understanding of or interest in Indian startup ecosystems, SaaS products, or compliance and data protection.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
