Role Description This is a full-time in office role for a Cybersecurity Expert ISO 27001, based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) for client organizations.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, defining security controls, preparing and reviewing policies and procedures, and guiding clients through internal and external audits. The expert will perform gap analyses, recommend remediation actions, and monitor cybersecurity, application, network,



and information security practices for compliance and effectiveness. The role also requires collaborating with client stakeholders, delivering training and awareness sessions, and providing ongoing support for certification, surveillance audits, and continuous improvement of security posture.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with practical experience in ISO 27001, 27701, Trust mark, DPDP implementation and audit readiness.
- Proficiency in Application Security, including secure software development practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation guidance.
- Solid understanding of Network Security, encompassing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, segmentation, and secure network design.
- Experience in Security Operations, such as incident response, log monitoring, threat analysis, and security governance processes.
- Hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27002, NIST), and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional and client-facing teams on-site.
