We are seeking a diligent and experienced Credit Manager to oversee all credit operations within our Vizianagaram branch. This role involves managing risk, ensuring compliance, and optimizing the credit portfolio to support business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end credit assessment process for all loan applications, including individual and corporate clients.

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.

Approve, decline, or recommend credit limits and terms based on established policies and sound financial analysis.

Monitor existing credit accounts for compliance with terms, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and improve recovery rates.

Ensure all credit activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Prepare and present regular credit performance reports to senior management.

Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and performance feedback.

Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit operations.





Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve business objectives while maintaining credit quality.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is a plus.

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in credit management, preferably within the financial services industry.

Proven track record of managing a credit portfolio and mitigating risks effectively.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent understanding of financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and risk assessment techniques.

In-depth knowledge of lending products, credit regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in credit management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team in a rapid-paced environment.

Familiarity with the Vizianagaram market and local economic conditions is advantageous.
