Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role based in Haridwar.

The Cost

Accountant will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and monitoring cost records and reports for manufacturing operations across multiple product categories. Day-to-day tasks include tracking production costs, reviewing inventory valuations, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and reconciling cost accounts with the general ledger.



The role involves preparing cost-related financial statements and reports, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

The Cost

Accountant will collaborate with finance, operations, and production teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, compliance with internal controls, and timely reporting to management.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Cost Accounting and Finance to manage manufacturing cost structures and profitability analysis.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements and cost reports for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger reconciliations.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and cost optimization assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in multi-plant or diversified product operations.
- Comfort with ERP/accounting software and solid Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Haridwar.
