Role Description The Compliance Officer (EPR) will oversee EPR-related compliance activities for clients, ensuring adherence to environmental and waste management regulations. This full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun involves monitoring regulatory updates, reviewing client operations, and preparing documentation for EPR registrations, periodic filings, and audit support. The role includes coordinating with regulatory authorities, supporting SPCB consent processes, and assisting with hazardous and solid waste compliance requirements.

The Compliance





Officer will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to analyze compliance risks, design mitigation plans, and maintain accurate records and reports. The position also involves providing clear guidance to clients, contributing to internal process improvements, and supporting training initiatives on EPR and related regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills, with experience in environmental or waste management regulations, including EPR for various streams (Plastic, E-waste, Battery, Used Oil, Tyres, C&D;, etc).
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulatory requirements, assess compliance risks, and evaluate data and documentation.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Basic understanding of Finance related to compliance costs, reporting, and budgeting for EPR obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Law, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Indian EPR frameworks and familiarity with SPCB processes, hazardous waste rules, and solid waste management regulations.
- Ability to work in office in Kanpur, manage multiple client engagements, and meet regulatory deadlines with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital documentation tools; prior experience in consulting or compliance roles is preferred.
