Role Description The Collections Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for overseeing collections operations, including managing a team of collection officers, setting daily targets, and monitoring performance to ensure timely recoveries.

The Collections

Manager will handle escalated cases, coordinate with banking and financial institution clients, and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines. Daily responsibilities include reviewing portfolio performance, analyzing overdue accounts, planning and implementing recovery strategies,



and preparing accurate reports for senior management. The role also involves mentoring team members, optimizing workflows, and maintaining skilled, compliant communication with customers to achieve collection objectives.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in collections management, recovery strategy, and portfolio analysis.Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, performance monitoring, and staff mentoring.Candidates should possess skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Candidates should possess skills in reporting, data interpretation, and basic proficiency with spreadsheets and collection software.Candidates should possess skills in understanding banking and financial products, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.Experience in banking collections, debt recovery, or related financial services roles is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage field and office operations, and coordinate across branches.Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with a professional and ethical approach to collections.Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.Proven ability to meet targets, handle pressure, and adapt to evolving processes and organizational requirements.
