Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Specialist – Data & BI to design, implement, and support cloud-based data solutions across GCP and Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, data pipelines, SQL Server, BigQuery, ETL, Power BI, data integration, and cloud-based reporting solutions.

The candidate will work closely with data engineering, BI, and business teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud data solutions and support enterprise reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Data Integration & Management

- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using GCP and Azure.
- Integrate data from SQL Server, Excel, BigQuery, MySQL, and other enterprise sources.
- Build and maintain reliable ETL/data pipelines for cloud data platforms.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and integration.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and availability.
- Support migration and integration of on-premises data sources with cloud platforms.

2. Cloud Data Platform Development

- Work with Google BigQuery and cloud-based databases to develop scalable data solutions.
- Design efficient data structures and data models for reporting and analytics.
- Monitor cloud data workloads and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
- Optimize queries and data processing for performance and cost efficiency.
- Support real-time and scheduled data integration requirements.

Power BI & Cloud Reporting

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using cloud-based data sources.
- Create DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and analytical models.
- Implement Power Query, data modeling, filters, RLS, drill-throughs, and scheduled refreshes.
- Connect Power BI with BigQuery, SQL Server, and other cloud data sources.
- Troubleshoot Power BI refresh and connectivity issues.

4. Cloud Monitoring & Performance Optimization

- Monitor cloud resources, data pipelines, and scheduled workloads.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud data processing.
- Optimize BigQuery queries, data pipelines, and database operations.
- Troubleshoot data integration, connectivity, and refresh failures.
- Follow cloud architecture and data platform best practices.

5. Automation & DevOps

- Automate data integration and operational processes wherever possible.
- Work with Power Automate for workflow and notification automation.
- Support CI/CD and deployment processes for cloud data solutions.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for critical data pipelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud data processes.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management





- Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into cloud data solutions.
- Support reporting and analytics teams with cloud data requirements.
- Document cloud solutions, data flows, and technical processes.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5–8 years of experience in Cloud, Data Engineering, BI, or related technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Valuable experience with BigQuery, SQL Server, ETL, and data pipelines.
- Experience integrating cloud data platforms with Power BI.
- Strong understanding of cloud data architecture and data modeling.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud, data pipeline, and reporting issues independently.
