Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Operations Engineer role based in Indore.
The Cloud Operations
Engineer will manage and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting Kensara.ai’s compliance platform, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scaling of services. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining secure and reliable environments, implementing infrastructure-as-code, performing system and database administration, troubleshooting performance and availability issues, and coordinating incident response.
The role involves collaborating with software development teams to ensure smooth deployments, CI/CD integration, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
The Cloud Operations
Engineer will also contribute to automation initiatives, documentation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure and Cloud Computing skills, including experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Candidates should possess solid Linux skills, including system administration, shell scripting, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Candidates should possess robust Databases skills, including management, backup and recovery, performance optimization, and monitoring of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Candidates should possess relevant Software Development skills, such as scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Go, or similar) for automation, tooling, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant qualifications include experience with monitoring and logging tools, containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and security best practices in cloud environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and incident management are key.
