We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and help run reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient production platforms across a multi-cloud, multi-region, geo-distributed environment. The role is hands-on, cloud networking heavy and operationally focused, supporting SaaS services and infrastructure that must remain highly available and performant.
You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to support day-to-day operations, improve automation, strengthen observability, and reduce cloud waste through disciplined resource management.
This is a hybrid role requiring minimum 3 days per week in our Bangalore office.
Job Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, SRE, systems engineering, or platform engineering.
- Robust hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, and exposure to the other cloud platform.
- Deep cloud networking knowledge with either AWS or Azure - VPC’s/VNETs, Cloudwan, VWAN, VPN Tunnels/gateways, loadbalancer.
- Experience with compute, storage, and platform services and Kubernetes.
- Kubernetes experience, including deployment, operations, troubleshooting, and cluster support.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as ADX, Fabric, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, and Zabbix.
- Drive cloud cost efficiency by eliminating waste, right-sizing resources, and promoting cost-aware operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Linux administration experience, ability to troubleshoot.
- Cloud Networking certification in either AWS or Azure.

- Operate and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with strong proficiency in cloud networking with either platform and working familiarity with the other.
- Hands-on experience in cloud network design, implement and troubleshooting with AWS or azure.
- Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based workloads and platform services.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and related automation practices.
- Support production deployments across multiple regions and geographies, with attention to resilience, availability, and performance.
- Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and support service restoration for production issues.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other modern AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation while validating outputs carefully.
- Track, manage, and break down projects in JIRA into epics, stories, and tasks demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and work ethic.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation schedule and respond to occasional off-hour outages and take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.
