Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training
About The Role

We're looking for Chemistry Specialists with advanced degrees to help train cutting-edge AI models — designing rigorous, real-world chemistry problems that push the boundaries of what AI can think through.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists, postdocs, and researchers who want to apply their deep domain knowledge in a new and impactful way. No AI background needed — your chemistry expertise is what matters.

What You'll Do
- Design, solve, and review advanced chemistry problems with genuine scientific depth and real-world relevance
- Apply your expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to craft complex, multi-step problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry reasoning for scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance model performance
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and communication quality
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in at least one of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian, VASP, or similar
- Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science precisely and accessibly
- Detail-oriented and methodical — you hold your work to a high scientific standard
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Experience in data annotation, scientific evaluation, or quality review workflows
- Background in academic research, industry R&D;, or applied chemistry
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts
- Experience writing or reviewing scientific problems for educational or assessment purposes
