Chemical Engineer – Quality | Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication &

- Painting

1. Fabrication & • Welding Quality

– Inspect fabrication and welding activities against approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, WPS/PQR, and applicable codes/standards; monitor fit-up, welding, and NDT activities.
2. Material & • Dimensional Inspection

– Verify incoming materials, MTCs, material traceability, dimensions, tolerances, and stage-wise inspection of fabricated components.
3. Painting & • Coating Quality

– Monitor surface preparation, abrasive blasting, surface profile, environmental conditions, primer/intermediate/topcoat application, DFT measurement, adhesion tests,



and final coating inspection as per project specifications.
4. QA/QC Documentation & • NCR Control

– Prepare inspection reports, checklists, test records, painting reports, punch lists, NCRs, and quality dossiers; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
5. Quality Coordination & • Continuous Improvement

– Coordinate with production, engineering, client, and third-party inspectors; identify quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve fabrication and painting quality.

Salary range: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month
