Role Description This is a full-time, in office Chartered Accountant role based in Mangalore. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance for assigned clients, including preparation and review of financial statements and working papers.

The Chartered

Accountant will handle direct and indirect tax filings, audits, assessments, and advisory, while supporting Virtual CFO engagements through budgeting, MIS reporting, cash-flow analysis, and performance tracking.



Day-to-day responsibilities include interacting with client finance teams, resolving accounting and tax queries, ensuring timely deliverables, and implementing internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with strong knowledge of accounting standards, corporate law, and audit principles.
- Experience in statutory audits, internal audits, and preparation and review of financial statements and related schedules.
- Sound understanding of direct and indirect taxation, including return filing, tax planning, and handling notices or assessments.
- Exposure to advisory, Virtual CFO services, and management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and MIS dashboards.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, cloud-based ERP), MS Excel, and data analysis tools; comfort working with technology-driven finance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data for decision making.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, internal teams, and leadership.
- Prior experience in CA firms, real estate advisory, RERA, or transaction support is an advantage.
