Experience Required (yrs):

4 - 6 years The Senior Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting firm-wide financial reporting requirements by preparing and analyzing financial information and processes.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Job Duties

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial regulations, and GAAP while driving the adoption of best practices.
- Analyze financial data and provide accounting support for key business entities and subsidiaries.
- Support external audit activities and assist in maintaining audit readiness throughout the year.
- Contribute to financial systems enhancements, implementations, and technology-driven process improvements.
- Assist with purchase accounting and financial integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A;).
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and journal entries, resolving discrepancies and accounting issues as needed.
- Develop, document, and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Support financial analysis related to lending requirements, debt agreements, and covenant compliance.
- Serve as a trusted finance resource by providing financial reporting insights and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Partner with FP&A; and Financial Systems teams to enhance reporting efficiency, streamline processes, and improve data quality.




- Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and management presentations to support business decision-making.
- Perform additional finance and accounting responsibilities as required to support organizational objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably within the accounting industry (US Accounting Knowledge), Experience in financial services, business advisory and/or banking industries.
- License/Certifications: CA/CPA, preferred
- Software: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems (Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, etc).

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- ASC 606 revenue recognition and other ASC knowledge, preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Functional working knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts such as debits, credits, balance sheet, income statement, accrual, prepaid, depreciation, etc.
- Independent critical thinking skills and ability to analyze financial data.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven workplace and handle multiple projects/tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Able to multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information.
