Role: Business process - AI Automation

Location: Fully Remote

Level: Mid-range / 5 Years of experience The candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and delivering AI process automation opportunities across the business. Working closely with business stakeholders and IT technical teams, they will map and analyse existing processes, uncover automation potential, and support the end-to-end development of intelligent, AI-powered solutions.

In addition, the successful candidate will serve as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions are grounded in a deep understanding of how work gets done, and communicating progress effectively to both business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders to map, document, and analyse end-to-end processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven automation
- Support the development and delivery of AI process automation solutions, working closely with IT technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable specifications
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams to uncover automation opportunities and build shared understanding of process improvement goals
- Prepare compelling progress reports and communications to ensure automation initiative updates are effectively shared with business and IT stakeholders

Skills

Essential





- Demonstrated business analysis or process consulting skills with 3–5 years of experience leading process discovery workshops, documenting complex workflows, and developing explicit business cases for technology investment.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping and workflow analysis tools (e.g. Figma, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro) and process modelling notations such as BPMN
- Practical understanding of AI and automation technologies, including RPA, generative AI, and intelligent automation platforms, and the ability to assess their applicability to business processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across functions and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Proven ability to evaluate and prioritise opportunities, with strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an agile or iterative delivery environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Desirable

- Familiarity with leading automation and AI platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar intelligent automation tools.
- Exposure to data analytics or process mining tools (e.g. Celonis, Power BI) to support evidence-based process improvement.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
