Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Mumbai.

The Business Development

Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate and qualify leads, and expand the client base in logistics and freight forwarding services.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating commercial terms in line with company guidelines. The role involves coordinating closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure accurate service information, timely responses,



and seamless execution of shipments.

The Business Development

Executive will also track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategic planning and achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in business development, sales prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management.
- Ability to prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial offers, with sound negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain concepts, including sea and air freight and customs processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic business tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and comfort working with data and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries is preferred.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work toward targets and manage multiple accounts.
