Astr Defence Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its defence business development team and is looking for an experienced professional who understands defence users, procurement processes, trials, evaluations and institutional engagement.
If you have served in the Indian Armed Forces, DRDO, Defence PSUs, CAPFs, or have substantial experience working with defence procurement and modernization programs, we would like to hear from you.
? Who are we looking for?
We are particularly interested in connecting with:
- Retired Major / Lieutenant Colonel / Colonel with equipment, trials, procurement or modernization experience
- Retired Wing Commander / Group Captain with relevant defence program exposure
- Retired Lieutenant Commander / Commander / Captain with defence systems or procurement experience
- DRDO scientists / engineers and professionals from Defence PSUs
- Defence-industry professionals experienced in government business development, tenders, trials, evaluations and institutional sales
- Professionals with solid understanding of Army / Air Force / Navy / CAPF procurement and user requirements
? Role Responsibilities The selected professional will be responsible for:
- Defence business development and strategic account management
- Understanding user requirements and identifying relevant defence programs
- Coordinating product demonstrations, trials, evaluations and technical interactions
- Tracking procurement programs, tenders, RFI/RFP opportunities and modernization initiatives
- Developing and maintaining institutional relationships
- Coordinating with defence users, technology partners and internal engineering teams
- Representing Astr Defence at Defence Exhibitions, Aero Shows and Government/Industry events
- Supporting conversion of operational requirements into indigenous defence solutions
