Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The role involves identifying and generating leads through various channels, conducting market research to understand industry trends, and building a robust pipeline of prospective learners and institutional partners. The associate will conduct presentations and information sessions to showcase Proxima’s programs, communicate value propositions clearly, and engage with potential learners.

Day-to-day tasks include cold calling, following up on inquiries, maintaining CRM records, coordinating with internal teams on campaigns, and supporting enrollment and partnership targets. The role also requires regular reporting on business development activities and contributing ideas to improve outreach and conversion strategies.

Qualifications

- 1-3 years of experience in B2C sales.
- Candidates with work experience in Ed-Tech / Pharma / Healthcare Industry is a plus.




- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and follow-up.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain programs clearly and persuasively.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or education services is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Solid interpersonal skills, a learner-centric mindset, and motivation to work in the education and skills development sector.
