The Role

We’re looking for an Admissions Expert – UG who has experience guiding IB/IGCSE students through international undergraduate admissions and wants to take that experience into a fast-paced, technology-led environment.

This could be a great fit for College/University Counsellors, Career Counsellors, or University Guidance professionals from IB schools in and around Bangalore who enjoy working closely with students and families and want to make a larger impact.

What you'll do

- Guide students and parents through the undergraduate study-abroad journey, from university exploration and shortlisting to applications and decision-making.
- Understand a student's academic profile, interests, goals, and aspirations to recommend the right university and course options.
- Work closely with students applying to universities across the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and other global destinations.
- Conduct meaningful conversations with students and parents, building trust and helping them make informed decisions.




- Use Ambitio's AI-powered platform and data to make the counselling and university-selection process more efficient and personalized.
- Maintain strong follow-ups and ownership throughout the student journey.
- Contribute insights from your counselling experience to continuously improve our student experience and processes.

Who are we looking for?

We'd love to hear from you if you:

- Have 2–5 years of experience in UG international admissions / study abroad counselling.
- Have worked with IB/IGCSE students, particularly Grades 11–12.
- Have experience as a College Counsellor, University Counsellor, Career Counsellor, University Guidance Counsellor, Admissions Consultant, or in a similar role.
- Have robust knowledge of international undergraduate admissions, particularly the US/UK and other premium study-abroad destinations.
- Are comfortable interacting with students, parents, and high-intent families.
- Are a strong communicator who can simplify complex admissions decisions.
- Are genuinely passionate about helping students find the right university and pathway.
- Are based in Bangalore or nearby and are comfortable working from our Bangalore office.
