Summary The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for helping the Company deliver high-quality services and product capabilities by supporting the development of new solutions and the maintenance of existing ones. Working closely with Product Owners, clients, business users, technology teams, and risk and compliance stakeholders, the BA defines detailed business requirements and ensures value-driven delivery throughout the product lifecycle. The role supports agile delivery practices, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous product improvement while ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

- Support Product Owners in defining product vision, roadmap development, and backlog management.
- Ensure product and service delivery aligns with strategic objectives, scorecard priorities, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Create and maintain user stories, explicit business narratives, and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, prioritization discussions, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies.
- Represent customer, client, and stakeholder needs within the product backlog.
- Use data-driven insights to support prioritization decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with technology teams to balance functional and non-functional requirements and help mitigate technical debt.
- Participate in squad ceremonies, including stand-ups, showcases, retrospectives, and quarterly planning activities.




- Review product performance metrics and contribute to ongoing enhancements after implementation.
- Validate completed work, participate in demonstrations, and support user story sign-off activities.
- Maintain transparency and visibility of backlog items and roadmap priorities across delivery teams.
- Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence to manage, track, and document backlog activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with business, technology, risk, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Support release management and reporting activities in accordance with established governance and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to applicable software delivery lifecycle and agile governance processes.
- Contribute to measuring business outcomes and benefits realized from delivered features and enhancements.

Education Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

- Experience working as a Business Analyst within agile delivery environments.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, business stakeholders,



customers, and technology teams.
- Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
- Experience participating in agile ceremonies and supporting end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience working within governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience using backlog and project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence.
