Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Manager role based in Dhule.

The Credit

Manager will evaluate and approve credit proposals, analyze financial statements, and assess risk profiles for retail and business customers.

Responsibilities include setting and monitoring credit limits, ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines, and managing the credit underwriting process end-to-end. The role involves close collaboration with branch teams and business stakeholders to support healthy portfolio growth while maintaining asset quality.

The Credit

Manager will also track portfolio performance, identify early warning signals,



and recommend corrective actions to minimize risk and credit losses.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust credit risk assessment skills, including financial analysis, cash flow evaluation, and understanding of collateral and security structures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of banking products, lending practices, and regulatory frameworks relevant to small finance and universal banking.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make sound credit decisions.
- Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with branch teams, customers, and internal credit committees.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and documentation skills to ensure accurate credit files, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Relevant experience in credit underwriting, risk management, or lending within the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field is required; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in finance or risk management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with credit scoring tools, core banking systems, and MS Excel or similar analytical tools will be beneficial.
