– Bid Manager: Risk Management

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement CoE team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Candidates must be able to work UK business hours (i.e. 11:30AM – 8:30PM IST/7AM – 4PM GMT) and may occasionally need to work beyond those hours to meet deadlines.

The Sales Enablement CoE supports various Marsh businesses worldwide primarily across Proposal & Bid Management, Client Research and Creative Services.

The purpose of this role is to provide bid and administrative support for our Risk Management (large and complex clients) team in the UK. This role is expected to gradually transition into an end-to-end Bid Management role.

We will count on you to:

Support our team of onshore bid managers, based in the UK, with proposal related administrative support. This will include:

1. Using our bid and reporting tools (QorusDocs / RMI) to produce first draft proposals and complete ITT requests for clients and prospects.
2. Liaising with the Marsh Risk Industry team to obtain and refine industry specific content and insights for RFP responses.
3. Maintaining the team work tracker, ensuring that all ongoing and completed RFPs are recorded accurately with up-to-date statuses.
4. Working with our Industry specialists to provide insights and client information packs for our bid team.
5. Creating and maintaining the RMI content library and keeping it up-to-date with standard content from recent RFPs.
6. Owning the debrief process, ensuring that debriefs are collected,



aggregating those debriefs and providing quarterly reporting.
7. Upon gaining maturity in above processes, you will be expected to start managing smaller and less complex opportunities under the supervision of a Bid Manager.

What you need to have:

1. Graduate in Science, Technology, Engineering, Commerce, etc.
2. 6-8 years of experience in a pre-sales/ proposal writing, bid management environment
3. Experience of working as a part of bid teams in large professional services setups
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
6. Business writing ability with strong grammar and proofreading/ editing skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
