Job Summary
Responsible for development of EV battery systems and charging solutions for current vehicle programs. The role involves battery pack development, charger integration with battery, also component level testing monitoring and integration support.
Experience: 4–6 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Function: Desing and Development
1. Support battery pack and charging system development for new EV platforms from concept to production readiness.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design and integration activities.
3. Ensure battery pack design meets performance, durability, and safety targets.
4. Support development and integration of onboard chargers and charging interfaces.
5. Work on charging connectors, harness interfaces, and communication protocols. Ensure compatibility with EV charging infrastructure.
6. Execute battery and charger validation tests including performance,
environmental, and safety testing.
7. Assist in issue investigation and root cause analysis.
8. Support technical interactions with battery, BMS, and charger suppliers.
9. Track project timelines, cost targets, and development milestones.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Lithium-ion battery chemistry, cell characteristics, and battery degradation mechanisms.
- Experience in battery pack architecture including module design, thermal management, and mechanical integration.
- Knowledge of Battery Management System (BMS) architecture, protection strategies, and communication protocols (CAN/LIN).
- Experience in EV charger design including onboard chargers, charging protocols, and power electronics topology.
- Understanding of EV regulatory and homologation standards (AIS, CMVR, IEC, ISO, UN regulations).
