Scope of Position

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Background Verification Specialist (Database Checks) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of database-based background screening checks across identity, integrity, and reputation categories. This role is critical in delivering accurate, timely, and confidential screening reports that help our clients make informed hiring decisions.

Essential Job Duties

- Conduct database background checks across Identity, Integrity, and Reputation categories, including ID, Passport, Address, Right to Work, CV, Credit, Bankruptcy, Civil Litigation, Criminal, Global Sanctions & PEP, Adverse Media, Directorship, Financial Regulatory, and Social Media checks.
- Review, validate,



and analyse search results from multiple screening databases and trusted data sources.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and client-ready background verification reports.
- Ensure all checks are completed within agreed turnaround times (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate case records and update screening progress in internal systems.
- Escalate potential discrepancies, red flags, or compliance concerns to the relevant team.
- Coordinate professionally with internal teams, clients, and third-party data providers when required.
- Ensure strict compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualification Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in background screening, compliance, KYC, AML, risk, or database verification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
