What you'll actually do

What you'll own

- API endpoints and services — real ones, in production, reviewed properly before they go there
- Tests, unit and integration, treated as part of the work rather than a chore after it
- Consent lifecycle and ledger features — notice, grant, review, withdrawal — under guidance to start with
- Data access and event handlers: PostgreSQL queries and Kafka consumers, which is how you learn what idempotency means
- Code review, both sides of it — reading other people's code carefully is most of how engineers get better in year two

02 What we will teach you
- Distributed-systems fundamentals, from someone who has run them
- How to model data for a system that must stay correct under audit
- How to write a design down before you build it
- What it means to build software where a mistake has consequences outside the company
- A defined path to Senior Software Engineer, and honest feedback on where you stand against it

03 Minimum qualification
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of professional backend experience in Node.js/TypeScript, Go,



Java or Python — a strong internship plus substantial personal projects counts
- Working SQL: you can model a small schema, write a join you understand, and explain why a query is slow
- Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP as a protocol rather than as a library call
- Git in a team setting, and the habit of writing tests without being asked twice
- Solid computer-science fundamentals — data structures, complexity, and reasoning about tradeoffs

Preferred

- Any exposure to AWS, Kafka or Redis, even from a side project
- An internship, open-source contribution, or a project you can walk us through and defend
- Anything you have written about your own work — a README worth reading counts

How we work

- Hybrid working style with anchor at our Grandthum office in Greater Noida, Tech Zone IV
- Defined core collaboration hours — outside that, flex your day around its natural shape
- Architecture decisions get written down and argued in the open. Small, reviewable changes. Depth is valued over volume
- Company-issued devices and approved tooling for anything touching customer or compliance data. Given what we build, we hold ourselves to the standard we sell

The practical details

- Location: Grandthum, Tech Zone IV, Greater Noida West, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh
- Employment type: full time, permanent
- Reports to: Head of Engineering
- Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in CS/IT, or equivalent demonstrated experience — we mean the second part
- Offers are subject to standard background verification, which we will explain before we ask for anything

07 How we'll interview you




- A 30-minute conversation about what you have built and what you want to be good at
- A practical coding exercise — realistic, time-boxed, and not a puzzle round
- A discussion of your code with the Lead Backend Engineer you would be working with
- A short conversation with the Head of Engineering
- Four stages, inside two weeks, decision either way. No unpaid take-homes longer than three hours
- With your application: tell us in a paragraph about something you built that did not work first time, and what you understood at the end that you did not at the start
