We are looking for a Word Processor to join our Document Processing and Management Department (“DPMD”), which assists our Audit/Attest practice with the production and review of financial statements and audit reports across the firm.

The DPMD consists of team members located across the United States and India. The DPMD functions virtually as a pooled team environment,



serving all Citrin Cooperman offices in the United States. Given the virtual nature of the DPMD, the team members function in a paperless fashion including utilizing technology, such as Microsoft Teams (for team collaboration and training), CaseWare/CaseView (for report editing/formatting), and Adobe Pro (for PDF Comparisons).

Current and future technology allows our team to work fully paperless and more efficiently, while enjoying the benefit of utilizing and learning the latest technology/process methods.

Position Summary The Word Processor is responsible for processing document typing/edits submitted from audit/attest engagement teams, and edits identified by Proofreaders, along with keeping overall format in line with standard firm guidelines, for various types of clients, and will work with audit/attest teams across the United States of America. The Word Processor will be a key member of our pooled team of Word Processors and Proofreaders that make up our DPMD.

Ideal individual will have strong typing, word processing and related software skills, preferably with experience working with financial statements for an accounting firm. Individuals should have a high attention to detail, and the ability to quickly transition from one assignment to the next. This individual would ideally be familiar with CaseWare/CaseView.

Word Processors must embrace the use of technology,



automation and a paperless setting as our firm continues to invest in the quality of our client deliverables along with protecting our clients’ data.

Key Responsibilities

- Process document typing/edits submitted from audit/attest engagement teams, and edits identified by Proofreaders, along with keeping overall format in line with standard firm guidelines.
- Collaborate with attest teams, as needed, regarding document clarifications and instructions.
- Ensure attest documents are of high quality, meet consistency standards, and utilize spell-check to reduce errors.
- Learn and utilize multiple software/technology tools required to keep our daily work, workflow and turnaround time efficient and paperless (i.e., CaseView, Adobe Pro PDF, XCM, DAS/OnPoint, and more)

Qualifications

- Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience, accounting firm/financial statement experience is preferred
- Software/technology proficiencies: o Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams for Video meetings and training)

o CaseWare/CaseView, DAS/OnPoint, knowledge is a plus o Adobe Pro (for document comparisons and final issuance)
- Excellent, proactive customer service skills
- Highly attentive to detail and organized
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in and participate in a collaborative team, and self-directed
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to anticipate and manage ambiguity and change
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and have the capacity to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Ability to work additional hours as necessary, including heavier overtime during busy seasons
