Job Summary

HID is seeking highly motivated and passionate graduates to join our IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations team as Associate Infrastructure Engineers (L1). This role provides an excellent prospect to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms, virtualization, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and IT operations.

The selected candidates will work closely with experienced engineers to monitor infrastructure environments, support incident management, perform operational tasks, and contribute to maintaining business-critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor enterprise infrastructure environments including VMware, Nutanix, and VxRail platforms.
- Monitor Windows and Linux server availability and performance.
- Perform first-level monitoring and triage of alerts from Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Monitor network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and connectivity services.
- Support routine VM provisioning, snapshot management, and infrastructure reporting.
- Verify backup jobs using Rubrik, Veeam, and Cloud Backup solutions.
- Log, track, and escalate incidents based on defined SLA requirements.
- Monitor database availability, scheduled jobs, and system performance.
- Perform routine health checks including disk space, backup status, and service availability.
- Support DNS updates, firewall request tracking, and infrastructure documentation.
- Monitor SentinelOne EDR alerts and endpoint security status.
- Review Rapid7 vulnerability scan reports and assist in remediation tracking.
- Maintain asset records, operational runbooks, incident logs, and change documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly operational reports.
- Support JD Edwards job monitoring, package builds, refresh activities, and batch job management.

Required Technical Skills

- Good understanding of networking fundamentals:
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- DHCP
- VLANs
- Routing and Switching basics
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of infrastructure and cloud computing concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware.
- Basic scripting skills in:
- Python
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of databases and server monitoring tools.
- Relevant certifications:
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
