Role Description The Associate Counsellor is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding prospective students through the process of planning and securing international study opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include understanding learners’ academic backgrounds and career goals, recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs, and providing information on admissions criteria, tests, and scholarships. The role involves coordinating application timelines, assisting with documentation, and offering support for visa procedures and pre-departure preparation.

The Associate

Counsellor will communicate regularly via calls, emails, and online meetings, maintain accurate records in internal systems,



and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality, ethical counseling services. This role requires consistent follow-up with learners, timely resolution of queries, and adherence to organizational processes and targets.

Qualifications

- Solid counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand learner needs and recommend appropriate study-abroad pathways.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex processes simply.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in handling applications, documents, and follow-ups.
- Comfort with remote work tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic office software (spreadsheets, presentations, email).
- Awareness of international education systems, entrance tests (such as IELTS), scholarships, and visa requirements; prior study-abroad counseling experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team while maintaining high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and learner-centric service.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in education, counseling, psychology, or related fields are preferred.
