Role Overview:
Hands-on experience in welding inspection and quality control, with valuable knowledge of welding processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG, and SMAW, weld fit-up, visual inspection, weld defects, WPS/PQR requirements, and applicable welding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials, fabricated components, welding works, surface finishes, and completed assemblies.
- Review and verify fabrication and installation works against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure accuracy, alignment, fit-up, and finish quality.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures, specifications, and required quality standards.
