About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Manager Dispatch to own daily dispatch operations and ensure products reach customers on time, intact, and accurately documented. You'll be the connective tissue between warehouses, transport partners, delivery teams, and customer support driving an exceptional delivery experience while keeping operations lean and productive.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Operations

- Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules against customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Allocate shipments to delivery partners and internal delivery teams on time.
- Monitor dispatch accuracy quantity, SKU verification, and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on schedule.

Last Mile Delivery Management

- Track deliveries from dispatch through to successful customer installation/delivery.
- Work with delivery executives and logistics partners to hold delivery timelines.
- Resolve delivery delays, route issues, customer escalations, and failed deliveries.
- Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) collection and timely system updates.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Partner with Customer Experience, Sales, Warehouse,



and Logistics teams for smooth order fulfilment.
- Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers when required.
- Work closely with 3PL partners to uphold service quality standards.

Performance Monitoring

- Track key metrics On-Time Delivery (OTD), Dispatch Accuracy, Delivery Success Rate, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce delivery costs.

Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain accurate dispatch records and logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate reconciliation for discrepancies, damages, or returns.

Key Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Commerce, or related field.

Experience

- 4+ years in logistics, dispatch operations, last-mile delivery, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, furniture, mattress, consumer durables, or D2C businesses preferred.
