Manage all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions

- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions across both brands
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate chart of accounts structure
- Process vendor payments, invoices, and expense reimbursements
- Track and reconcile bank accounts and payment platforms (Shopify, payment gateways, etc.)
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Create financial dashboards and KPI reports for management review
- Analyze profitability by brand, product line, and sales channel
- Identify financial trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis reports
- Track key ecommerce metrics: COGS, gross margin, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value

Tax Compliance & Planning

- Manage tax preparation and filing (GST, income tax, state compliance)
- Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes
- Calculate and remit tax liabilities on schedule
- Advise on tax-efficient business decisions and planning
- Prepare required tax documentation for accountant/CPA
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting ecommerce businesses

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead and mentor accounting/finance team members (if applicable)
- Delegate bookkeeping and AP/AR tasks effectively
- Ensure team members follow accounting best practices and policies
- Provide training on accounting procedures and compliance requirements

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure financial controls and internal audit procedures
- Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation
- Implement and monitor cash handling and transaction approval processes
- Prepare for external audits (if required)




- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Robust knowledge of bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, and tax preparation
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of GST/tax compliance (India or relevant jurisdiction)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
