Executive Accounts Assistant – Restaurant & Food & Beverage Group Job Type: Full-time Experience: 1–4 years preferred Location: Gurgaon / Gurugram Reporting To: Main Accountant / Accounts Manager About the Role We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Executive Accounts Assistant to join the finance and accounts function of a growing restaurant and food & beverage group. Our business operates across multiple restaurant and F&B; operations and also undertakes catering activities. This role will provide exposure to accounting across multiple outlets, business units, vendors and day-to-day restaurant operations.

You will work directly under the main accountant and will be responsible for supporting accurate, timely and well-organised accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities - Assist the main accountant with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

- Record and verify sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payment transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain vendor and supplier ledgers and reconcile outstanding balances.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction verification.
- Verify invoices, bills, expense claims and supporting documentation.
- Assist with daily and periodic sales reconciliation across restaurant outlets.
- Reconcile cash, card, UPI and other payment collections with recorded sales.
- Assist in tracking restaurant-level expenses and operational costs.
- Maintain proper documentation for purchases, expenses and payments.
- Assist with GST-related documentation, invoice records and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Support preparation of MIS reports and periodic financial statements.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, reconciliations and outstanding entries.
- Coordinate with restaurant managers, outlet teams, vendors and the central accounts team regarding financial documentation.




- Assist with inventory and purchase-related accounting where required.
- Maintain accurate records for catering sales, purchases, expenses and collections.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and bring them to the attention of the main accountant.
- Ensure accounting entries are complete, accurate and properly supported by documentation.

Requirements - B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent accounting/finance qualification preferred.

- 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Practical understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Valuable knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.
- Familiarity with GST and basic statutory accounting processes.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with Tally, Tally Prime or other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organisational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle accounting information across multiple outlets or business units.
- Ability to work under the supervision of the main accountant while independently completing assigned tasks.
