Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architecture Draughtsman role based in the Pune Division.

The Architecture

Draughtsman will prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations based on concepts and specifications provided by architects and project leads. Daily tasks include translating design ideas into accurate technical drawings, updating drawings according to review comments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and other team members, organizing drawing sets for submissions, and maintaining clear documentation and drawing records.



The draughtsperson will also assist in preparing presentation drawings and supporting materials for clients and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

- Robust technical drawing skills using CAD software and other relevant design tools, with the ability to produce precise and clear architectural plans.
- Knowledge of architectural detailing, building materials, construction methods, and basic structural and services coordination.
- Ability to interpret architectural concepts, sketches, and specifications, and convert them into accurate working drawings and documentation.
- Good organizational and documentation skills for managing drawing files, revising plans, and preparing submission sets.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams in a studio environment.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in an architectural or urban planning firm, especially in preparing working drawings and municipal drawings, is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to feedback and continuous learning in a fast-paced design practice.
