Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager – Alteryx to manage Alteryx platform operations, development, administration, application support, and solution delivery. The role will act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring platform stability, workflow performance, governance, release management, and effective stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server, along with experience in application support, incident management, automation, team coordination, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Alteryx platform operations, administration, and production support.
- Develop, maintain, review, and optimize Alteryx workflows.
- Manage Alteryx Server scheduling, workflow execution, automation, monitoring, and job failures.
- Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for workflow and system optimization.
- Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and ensure SLA compliance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Coordinate application releases, deployments, environment management, upgrades, and patches.
- Ensure appropriate security, access control, governance, and compliance across the Alteryx platform.
- Lead coordination between offshore/onshore teams and provide regular status and operational reporting.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for platform support and issue resolution.




- Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills
- Alteryx Designer – workflow development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Alteryx Server Administration – configuration, scheduling, monitoring, user/access management, and support.
- Strong understanding of workflow scheduling, automation, and job monitoring.
- Positive knowledge of SQL and database/data integration concepts.
- Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in release and setting management.
- Experience in team handling, offshore/onshore coordination, and vendor management.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Python or R.
- Exposure to Data Governance, data security, and compliance.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, with strong experience in Alteryx.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with business and technical teams
