Role Overview :

As an Anaplan Model Builder based in Gurgaon, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex business requirements and technical execution. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and internal implementation teams to design, build, and maintain sophisticated planning models that drive organizational efficiency. Your day-to-day involves translating financial and operational logic into the Anaplan environment, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and that end-users have the insights necessary to execute strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust Anaplan models to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational reporting requirements for global clients.
- Translate complex business processes into scalable data structures and calculation logic to ensure high performance and model maintainability.




- Manage end-to-end data integration processes by connecting Anaplan with external ERP and BI systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on model design, ensuring the final output aligns with organizational planning objectives.
- Perform rigorous testing and troubleshooting of models to identify bottlenecks and optimize calculation speeds for a seamless user experience.
- Document technical specifications and provide training to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption and self-service capabilities within the platform.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Anaplan model building, including advanced formula writing, module design, and dashboard creation, with 3 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts and the ability to structure complex datasets to support multi-dimensional planning.
- Solid technical background in SQL and data integration tools to facilitate the movement of data between enterprise systems and the Anaplan platform.
- Deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) processes, allowing for the effective translation of business logic into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations during the implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Gurgaon, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
- A degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field that reflects a strong analytical foundation.
